Basketball Winter CYO Program

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Example: 3rd through 8th grade boys and girls, plus high school CYO teams!

What time of the year does this program run?

Example: Season begins on or around November 16th and runs until Super Bowl, Feb 9th 2025. There will be no games played over Thanksgiving weekend, as well as from 12/23 to 1/3/25.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Example: Home games and practices are held at Annunciation gym and Our Lady of Fatima gym. Away games are played at parishes all over Westchester and Putnam.

When are practices and how often are they?

Example: Teams practice once during the week and once on weekends. Weekend practices end in mid Nov when the gyms are used to host home games for our 25+ teams. Teams may practice over holiday breaks and/or when school is not in session.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Example: Teams will play a 12 game regular season on weekends, plus playoffs if applicable. Our teams also participate in some tournaments over holiday weekends.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Example: 3rd graders are provided with new uniforms. All older grades that need a new uniform should email annunciationfatimacyo@gmail.com

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Example: Uniforms plus any tournaments outside your regular season schedule that your team may enter. Non-parishioners pay an extra fee.
